Christmas Day 2012

One very tired Santa!
Ho! Ho! Ho! and Merry Christmas!
Well, the reindeer and I are very tired!
It was a very long night. But it was a very fun night!
I hope you had fun this morning too!

Santa Claus' sleigh is ready!
Christmas is so close. I can almost taste the cookies! Ho! Ho! Ho!
We are all ready for the big night.
There are just a few things to do.
Everyone else is sleeping.
So I thought I would share
A silly poem with you…

It was the North Pole Olympics closing ceremony today. What a parade!
All of the elves were there! All of the reindeer were there! All of the medal winners were there!
And every seat in the arena was full. The crowd were cheering and clapping for everyone.

Have you ever seen elves playing basketball? It is not easy when you are so small. The basket is very high. But elves never give up, you know!

The elves joined in with the Olympic Reindeer Games today. They had a shot putt contest. But they used snow balls instead of metal balls!

Happy New Year!
Oh, let me tell you about last night. We had all decided to give Scunner the grumpy Scottish elf a lovely big surprise. A few weeks ago, Kissy told me that he was homesick and that this was making him grumpy.
Would you like to find out what how we surprised Scunner the Grumpy Elf?
After flying all over the world on Christmas Eve, my sleigh is very dirty. So today, I took it to the North Pole Sleigh Wash. The elves worked hard to get it nice and clean.

Yesterday there was a big snowstorm at the North Pole. The elves worked hard all year to get the gifts ready. Now we are all stuck inside. So Mrs. Claus decided we should have some fun.
Would you like to hear Mrs. Claus’ idea?
We put the sleigh away today. And just in time! A huge snow storm blew into the North Pole. The snow piled high on the roof. It even blocked half the windows. We could barely open the doors through the drifts of snow!
Would you like to hear more about the snowstorm?
Life is crazy at the North Pole. Before Christmas the elves race to finish the toys. The reindeer are busy training. Toys are piled up to the ceiling.
But after Christmas things are a little different! Click here to read all about “After Christmas at the North Pole”»

It sure is cold here in the North Pole! I like to stay wrapped in my nice, warm red coat. Even then, I get the shivers at times. Would you like to hear a way I stay toasty warm?
Mrs. Claus worries about flu season. After all, I cannot be sick for the big day! I do not want to let anyone down Christmas morning!

Rudolph
Ho! Ho! Hiccup?
Well, Rudolph had the hiccups today. What a holly, jolly time we had at the North Pole finding a cure!
Would you like to hear more about red-nosed reindeer hiccups?

Santa's Sock
Today at the North Pole I made a new snow slide for the elves. Clumsy went right thru the reindeer barn!
When we came in, Mrs. Claus had nice hot cocoa ready for us. Of course, I had to take off my boots first.
My socks were very wet, stinky and holey! It reminded me of last Christmas.
