Christmas Elves In Halloween Costumes!
We do lots of fun things at “Ho! Ho! Halloween” at the North Pole. We play Halloween games. We do Halloween crafts. We even dress up!
The elf girls love to dress up. They dress up as princesses and fairies. They look very pretty in their pretty dresses.
The elf boys dress up in all sorts of costumes. Some are pirates. Some are Batman. Some are Spiderman. But most of them dress up as me!Â
It’s really funny to see all those silly boy elves running around as Santa Claus! Then they will all stop at the same time, hold their little bellies and say, “Ho! Ho! Ho!”. I laugh so hard it always makes me say “Ho! Ho! Ho!”! And then they all laugh and they say “Ho! Ho! Ho!”.

Brooklyn, it is ok if others don’t believe in me. Sometimes when kids and adults get older they lose their spirit of childhood. They even start to think that I don’t exist!
Everyone can have their own opinion (even if it does not happen to be right!
. If talking to your friends or other kids about this makes you mad, then it might be best not to talk to them about it. You are your own person. You do not have to believe or do something just because your friends say so! And, as long as you keep the spirit of Santa in your heart, that is what is most important!

Malindi, of course I exist! I exist just as surely as love and the spirit of childhood do. Sometimes when kids and adults get older they lose their spirit of childhood. They even start to think that I don’t exist! But I have been around for a very, very long time because people of all ages have kept me in their hearts. Even if the way you think of me changes over time, I hope you will always keep my spirit with you. And even if I cannot bring you presents, you must always remember that I love you very much!

I am very sorry that you are upset about this. But it is very good to talk to people about things that upset you. There are great people just waiting to talk to you. They are not elves, but we like to think of them as “elves in training” anyway!
