We got a new reindeer at the North Pole today. Mrs Claus told me recently that it would be an idea to have a few more reindeer in case any of the others got ill. She is a very wise lady and I had to agree.

I’m not sure if you know about my famous magic key? It lets me get into every house so I can deliver gifts. Its magical powers can open any door. I keep it on a very special hook in the workshop. I always know where it is and I check it every day.
Pudding the Christmas cat went to visit the reindeer today. The reindeer were having fun playing reindeer games. Pudding joined in with a snowball game! Prancer threw an extra big snowball. SMACK! It landed right on top of Pudding. Only her whiskers could be seen poking out!
The Reindeer Games turned into adventure games today. It was Cupid’s idea. He really wanted to try bungee jumping. His idea was called “Cupid’s Christmas Cookie Challenge”.
The reindeer invented and played a new reindeer Christmas game called “snowball shinty” today. Blitzen had learned all about it in a book about Scottish sport. It is a little bit like hockey played on grass. The players have a stick and they hit a hard ball.
Blitzen thought he could create a brand new Christmas game using some things we have at the North Pole. The reindeer could use big candy canes as hockey sticks and a Christmas tree bauble as a ball. They tried using a snowball for a ball, but well, you can imagine how that turned out! The first time one of the reindeer hit the snowball, it went SPLAT! HHHOL!
