Christmas Day 2010

One very tired Santa!
Ho! Ho! Ho! and Merry Christmas!
Well, the reindeer and I are very tired!
It was a very long night. But it was a very fun night!
I hope you had fun this morning too!

IT IS CHRISTMAS EVE!
Hello boys and girls around the world! There is only 1 more sleep until Christmas morning! That’s right, only 1 MORE SLEEP until the best day of the year is here! (Can you hear the elves cheer!?)

Santa Claus' sleigh is ready!
Christmas is so close. I can almost taste the cookies! Ho! Ho! Ho!
We are all ready for the big night.
There are just a few things to do.
Everyone else is sleeping.
So I thought I would share
A silly poem with you…

Wow! Just a few more sleeps until Christmas Eve! Are you getting just a little bit excited yet? I know we are!
We are really busy now. The elves at the Nawdy N. Nice Elf detective agency have been working extra hard. They have been watching all the girls and boys. I have been checking my list too. We all want to know who is being naughty or nice!

Junkanoo elves
Every weekend before Christmas a different group of elves puts on a big parade. It is a lot of fun. After all, everyone at the North Pole loves a parade!
Tonight, the elves from different countries put on their big parade. It is one of the happiest of all the parades.
Every year we have different countries in the parade (the elves have to take turns after all!). Would you like to hear more about the parade?
We had our Christmas Pageant a little while ago. Oh what fun! It is when all the smaller elves and reindeer put on a show for everyone else to see. We know it is getting very close to Christmas when they put on their Holiday show!

It is getting very close to Christmas now! Quite a few kids are asking me “Santa Claus, what is your email address?”
Some friends want to phone me. They ask the elves, “What is Santa Claus’ phone number?”
Others want to mail a letter to the North Pole. They ask Mrs. Claus “What is Santa’s address?”
Would you like to know the best way to “talk to Santa” right now?

Mrs. Claus likes to try all kinds of new food. And I like to bring her back fun things to cook with. Last time I brought her back some squid tubes and tentacles from Italy.
Would you like to hear a funny story about the squid tubes and tentacles?

Did you know the elves like to write Christmas songs? Kissy the Elf wrote the words for a brand new Christmas song called “The Santa in the Sleigh”. You sing it to the tune of “The Wheels on the Bus”. I hope you will try singing it for her. There is a special surprise after the words to her new song too.

Do you remember what happened last Christmas Day at the North Pole? Twelve baby Christmas elves were born! After all, all Christmas elves are born on Christmas Day!
You did know about the baby Christmas elves, right? Would you like to hear more news about them?
Well, everyone at the North Pole has been enjoying the babies. They are a lot of work though! Can you imagine having twelve babies?!

Everyone here really enjoyed the Christmas joke contest between the elves and reindeer. It really got the reindeer into a silly mood before Christmas! Do you want to know how silly?

Every weekend before Christmas a different group of elves puts on a big parade. It is a lot of fun. After all, everyone at the North Pole loves a parade!
Tonight, the elves that make the Christmas decorations and ornaments put on their big parade. I think their parade is the prettiest. Would you like to hear more about their parade?

Elves love to go skating. I think it is because they love the hot chocolate that Mrs. Claus always makes for them. You know, the kind with the fancy imported marshmallows! Yum! It always smells and tastes so good after you play outside in the cold.
Would you like to hear about one of the first times the elves had a skating party?

Elf Gingerbread House
Christmas elves are great helpers. They make great toys. But did you ever wonder why the elves help me make toys for all the good girls and boys?
Many, many years ago, Mrs. Claus and I went to the North Pole. We saw a bunch of elves there. The elves were very cold and very hungry. But they were very afraid of us. The elves were afraid because people had been mean to them.

A Christmas Elf
Well, the Christmas elves wanted to try something different today. You know my elves! They are always creating and trying out new things!
Would you like to find out what they were up to this time? I think you might be surprised!

Wow! Have we been busy!
Mrs. Claus was busy at the North Pole. The Christmas elves were busy at my Santa Claus Workshop. The elves at the Nawdy N. Nice Elf Detective agency were busy checking who was being naughty and nice. The reindeer were busy at the reindeer barn with their reindeer games. And I was just plain busy everywhere!
I was so busy I think I forgot everywhere I went to. So I need your help!
Here is a story I almost forgot about. I am glad Mrs. Claus reminded me!
It was Mouse the Littlest Elf’s very first day in the North Pole Workshop. She was so excited! She could hardly wait. She wanted to find out what her new job was going to be! Was she going to make dolls for good little girls? Was she going to make iPads, iPods or iPhones? She could not wait to find out!
Thank you for all your comments about who is sillier: elves or reindeer! It really got them going reading all the comments from the kids!
My elves and reindeer even decided to have a little North Pole contest to see who was sillier. So, they started coming up with more funny Christmas knock-knock jokes!
Would you like to hear the ones they made up?
