Today is Boxing Day at the North Pole! Do you know what Boxing Day is?
Ho! Ho! Ho! and Merry Christmas!
Well, the reindeer and I are very tired! It was a very long night. But it was a very fun night! I hope you had fun this morning too!
IT IS CHRISTMAS EVE!
Hello boys and girls around the world! There is only 1 more sleep until Christmas morning! That’s right, only 1 MORE SLEEP until the best day of the year is here! (Can you hear the elves cheer!?)
Christmas is so close. I can almost taste the cookies!
Ho! Ho! Ho!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
North Pole — (Dec. 22, 2008) – Dr. Alf Doctor today told the press that Santa Claus and the reindeer are fit to fly Christmas Eve.
“It is true”, said Dr. Doctor. “Santa Claus and the reindeer had their annual doctor visit today”.
I am very lucky. I get to see the whole world. I get to see many wonderful things. People have done such great things.
But, I see a lot of things that make me a little sad too. I see people who are hungry. I see people who are hurting. I see many things that make me thankful for all that I have.
And I see many things that give me hope.
Are you ready for more news about the twin reindeer? (You did know we were going to have twin reindeer, right?) Would you like to hear today’s news?
We are getting ready for the big night! There are only a few more sleeps! Today we made sure all the reindeer are ready. But, we had a little problem. Would you like to hear about it?
There is one question I get asked a lot. I do not know why people keep asking me, but they do!
Do you know what that question is?
Rudolph and Clarice just gave me great news! It is about the little reindeer! (You did know a little reindeer was coming, right?) Would you like to hear today’s news?
Many of my friends ask me, “Santa Claus, what can I get for my Mommy and Daddy for Christmas?”. Then some of my friends ask me, “Santa Claus, why do you not bring as many presents for Mummies or Daddies or other grown-ups?”.
Well, the answer may surprise you!
We love Christmas music at the North Pole. We listen to it all year long!
We are very excited at the North Pole! We are watching the “Official Santa Claus Countdown to Christmas Clock“. It is only 10 more sleeps until Christmas Eve!
I was busy this morning. I visited many places!
The places I visited do something special today. It is called Saint Lucia’s Day. It is also called Saint Lucy’s Day. It is a day about Light winning over Darkness. And that is what Christmas is about in many ways too!
Christmas elves love their Elf Gym. After all, it is good to play and have fun every day. The elf gym has monkey bars and slides. It has swinging balls and rides. It even has tunnels, with candy cane outsides!
We have exciting news at the North Pole! It is about the little reindeer! You did know a little reindeer was coming, right? Would you like to hear the news?
Many of my friends ask me, “Santa Claus, can you make it snow here for Christmas, please?”.
I always tell them, “Why, yes, of course! I can give you a white Christmas any time you want!”. (But you better read the rest of my post before you get your snowsuit on.)
We love Christmas music at the North Pole. There are many songs about me. Can you sing “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”? Have you heard “Here Comes Santa Claus”?. Do you know “Must Be Santa?”. Those are very good Christmas songs, if I do say so myself. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Different people eat different things at Christmas. It is part of what makes Christmas special for them. In Norway, Christmas would not be Christmas without a special fish dish called “lutefisk”. You say it “loo-ta-fisk”.
I am very busy! I will not be this busy again until Christmas Eve! Do you know why? In some places, Saint Nicholas Day is in one more sleep!
